There were a lot of people, including a lot of doctors, that didn't think that I would be walking on my own or talking and making a life the way I want it to be. But I am. I believe that anything is possible because that is how I live. I have never seen anything that was impossible.

I know some challenges are harder than others but no matter what, every person is a person first. If you can see disabled people as people, you will see that we are amazing…just like you.
I want to help kids that don’t know that yet. I want every life to have a chance to be everything they can dream of. I want to show everybody that Anything Is Possible. I climbed the Inca Trail up to Machu Picchu in Peru (November 2010) in support of and to raise awareness for disabled kids around the world. And to show the world that in doing something that most people would say was impossible for me, that there are no limits. This is just the beginning.
Through fundraising I have raised more than $10,000 that has gone to Myah’s Anything Is Possible Campaign and EquipKIDS International. Thank you for your support.
My message: Anything Is Possible! so Dream Big!
My name is Myah. I am sixteen years old. I was born with an underdeveloped left cerebellum and this affects my physical balance and co ordination of muscles. My speech is somewhat unclear and I use cuff crutches so I don't fall but I still have to work hard to get around. I work to improve my mobility everyday. I have very limited sight in one eye and I have no pain response in my face. I have learned a lot through the challenges of my life but the most important thing I have learned so far is that anything is possible. My parents never let me think that my future was set or that I would have to accept what everyone told me I should be. I don't believe you should ever give up, although sometimes you may have to modify your path. So? Keep dreaming and living and doing.
I hope to inspire and open people’s eyes. They need to see the great need for support and awareness of disabled kids and their challenges in Peru and throughout the world. They need to see that everyone has challenges and no one wants to feel different because of those challenges, they just want to be supported and accepted. So many people have come up to me once they have heard my message and tell me that it was exactly what they needed to hear. I am glad.
Anything Is Possible. Its very true if you believe it. So dream, be the person you want to be, do those things that seem impossible and live a life that has no excuses. Down deep you know its important, for your life, for the people around you and for people you may never even meet. Its what that voice inside of you has always told you, its what makes your tummy flutter and it is your path.
